      Concordia Academy High School is an accredited 9th through 12th grade college preparatory school that is conveniently located in a residential community just outside downtown Austin. Concordia Academy High School was founded in 2002 and is affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). In 2014-2015, we expect a student body of approximately 125 students. We have 11 faculty members with 67% having earned advanced degrees. Vision Statement: Concordia Academy is recognized for Christ-like leadership development and is among the leading Christian High Schools in the Greater Austin Area. * COLLEGE COORDINATOR: Students, beginning in their sophomore year receive time with our College Coordinator. Our coordinator works person ally with each student to determine the best colleges & universities for them. The 26 seniors from the class of 2013 received $2,057,000 in scholarship offers from 50 different colleges/universities.

      * ATHLETICS: Baseball, Basketball (Men & Women?s Varsity & Jr. Varsity Teams), Cheerleading, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball (Women?s Varsity & Jr. Varsity Teams) * EXCEPTIONAL CHORAL & INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PROGRAM: Our students are blessed to learn under the direction of Dr. Robert Achterberg. The Concordia Academy 2008-09 Choral Program earned 6th in State and the Instrumental Program placed 6th in State in Division 3A. Annually Concordia Academy students are named to National Honor Choirs and Bands across the United States. * ELECTIVES: Anatomy, Art, Band, Choir, Drama, Music Fundamentals, Novels, Personal Finance, Spanish 1-4 & Web Design. * EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Class Retreats, Dance Committee, Drama, Mission Trips, Music Program, National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Spanish Club, Student Council, TAPPS: Academic, Art & Music Competitions, Yearbook. * HOT LUNCH PROGRAM: A hot lunch tray is available for purchase five days a week. * WEEKLY CHAPEL SE RVICE: Students are involved in the planning and leading of worship each week. Concordia Academy teachers and administrators, Lutheran pastors and other special guests are invited to lead chapel.
