Jacki has done wonders to my hair. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I got a balayage. She took her time.. She just nailed this look for me and my haircut is perfect. If you see this Thank you I love my hair again.

I have to agree with Chrissy200 about most of the reviews being written by staff members. If I could give my experience at Plum Tree Salon & Spa a negative star, I would! I have NEVER had a haircut I was more disappointed about in my life and I'm pretty easy going about my hair...after all, hair grows. It's not that it's a bad cut - for someone else (like a Stepford wife) - it's that Cindy, one of the owners, just didn't listen. I told her that I didn't like a lot of structure, that I didn't like my hair smooth, that I like big, chunky layers and that I preferred it "messy," unstructured, piecey since I don't like to spend time blow drying my hair or using a flat iron. After telling her what I liked, I told her I was open to suggestion for a fresh look for my slightly below shoulder length hair - anything but a bob! Guess what I left with? A blown smooth, chin length bob that has no layers and is so "poofy" I could be an anchorwoman on a Texas morning news show! And with the 6 inches of length cut off into a blunt cut, I have no chance for the piecey layers I hoped for without going to a very short hair cut! If I cried about things like hair, I would have cried all the way home. As it is now, I'm going to have to add 20 minutes to my morning "primp" to get my wavy hair into this helmet cut - or I'm going to have to scrape it up into a clip. And in case your wondering why I didn't go back to wear I usually get my hair cut, it's because my stylist of 3 years moved out of state. If you like a smooth chin length bob and you have the right hair and face for it, Plum Tree is the place for you. But if you want something more or have hair that just doesn't work in a bob without putting it under extreme stress - RUN AWAY....FAST!
