Northwood Elementary School, founded in 1996 and located in Roswell, Ga., offers a wide range of co-curricular and educational services to students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 800 students. The organization offers various subjects, such as English, art and crafts, fine arts, mathematics, science, social studies, computers, music, and health and physical education. Its library offers a variety of picture books, textbooks, fiction, nonfiction, biography and poetry. It involves students in various sports activities, including baseball, softball, kickball, and track and field. The school organizes various extracurricular programs, such as book fair, field day, movie and music nights various jump rope club programs. It also offers special activities that include outdoor community meetings and accelerated reader programs. In addition its parent-teacher organization involves parents in various school activities.
