He has successfully performed over ten thousand cataract and refractive surgical procedures in his career. Although he specializes in surgical ophthalmology, he has a bustling general ophthalmology practice and values the relationships he has with his patients. Dr. Heit received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the State University of New York in Brooklyn. He completed a fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery at the prestigious Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor’s College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
