Dream Theatre was formed to provide adult individuals with special needs a unique and meaningful dramatic arts program to educate them in the arts and to provide a venue in which they can take part in dramatic productions. We offer a dynamic and constantly evolving, person-centered program in which a person's abilities are more important than their disabilities. It is our philosophy that our students should be provided with a choice of learning experiences that engage their minds, hearts, and bodies. The arts help them to learn; they enhance creativity, self-discipline, teamwork, self-esteem, and the skills and confidence necessary to meet challenges encountered during their lives. Our program offers a nurturing environment allowing individuals to develop specific skills in the art form of their choosing.
