      my namesake, Christopher Snyder, son of Jacob Snyder, helped build this house, according to to the corner stone. There should be mention of Jacob's house in Cottekill, which has a state historic marker in the history of the Snyder House as it was built on Snyder property from 1755. Christopher Snyder, pob 244, Prospect, Ky. 40059.
