      General Info
      Fort Bend Battery was founded in 1982 as a distributor of all batteries. Our service department was introduced in 1992 to repair golf carts and by 1994 was servicing the entire state of Texas and we also expanded the business into golf cart sales. We were soon asked by Yamaha Golf-Car Company to formally assist them in delivering and maintaining their fleet of carts at golf courses throughout South and East Texas. By the year 2000, Fort Bend Battery formally became an authorized Yamaha dealer. In 2001 our business once again expanded into custom golf carts, multi-passenger vehicles, and utility vehicles. In 2010 Fort Bend Battery & Golf Carts became an authorized E-Z-Go and Cushman Dealer adding to our product line of new and used carts. Today, we carry an extensive inventory of new and used carts, parts for nearly any type of golf cart and utility vehicle, and we have several experienced technicians capable of repairing any cart. We continue to carry batteries for all type of vehicles, including those for automotive, heavy trucking, medical, alarm systems and more. Throughout the years our success has been due in large part to our commitment to customer service. We take pride in giving our customers exactly what they ask for, in a timely manner, and at a fair price. Whether it is a new cart or vehicle you need, repair service, or just need some parts, we'll be pleased to fulfill your request with the same commitment that keeps our customers coming back.
