It operates through its departments, including detailing, engineering and project management divisions. Its detailing department creates material procurements, geometry drawings, shop detail drawings, field erection drawings, field bolt placement drawings, computer numerical control files for shop equipment, electronic bill of material files, and electronic 3D model files. Cives Steel Company provides its services to a wide range of industries, such as power, industrial, pulp and paper process, pharmaceutical, commercial office and buildings, stadiums, and airports. Headquartered in Rosedale, Miss., the company has locations in Puerto Rico, South America, Mexico, Canada, Africa, Eastern Europe, Korea, and the Middle East.
