This is the best natural hair spot in Long Island, no it's the best place in New York! I've been looking for a clean place to do my hair for so long. I found Karen's Hairbraiding and I will never go anywhere else. They do all types of braids and twists, not only that they do color, perms, wash and set! Karen's is all in one! All of the workers are so nice and make me feel like I am at home. This place is so clean! I was so happy to get away from the other shacks on Long Island. They put on movies and everything! I brought my baby sister here and they made her look like a goddess! If you have any sense you need to come here and get your hair done!!!

I've been getting my hair braided since I was a child and I have to say that going here to get my hair braided was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I was going for the whole poetic justice look which I have done before but done in Brooklyn. But since Karen's is local I decided to give them a try and I wouldnt recommend a soul .

The workers claim to do natural hairstyles, they don't . Ask them not to put a product in my hair they did. Too many workers working in your hair and over charging prices.Very unprofessional .
