Established in 1976, CGI Automated Manufacturing is a sheet metal fabrication company. It produces sheet metal assemblies and subassemblies in stainless steel, aluminum, and cold- and hot-rolled material. The company manufactures a range of products, such as fixtures and enclosures. It serves the lighting, industrial machinery, automotive, equipment, electrical instrument and communication industries. The company has forming, punching, welding, shearing, finishing and cutting departments. Its tool room has several machines, including surface and tool grinders, drill presses, milling machines, lathes and mechanical shears. The company operates a more than 38,000-square-foot facility in Chicago. CGI Automated Manufacturing has a staff of more than 50 employees.
