Dr. Schumacher is a rare vet, indeed. He cares personally about each of his client families, pets and people alike. He is generous with his knowledge, which is vast, and with his empathy, which is deep. He taught my teens and I more about dog health than some of the vet tech students at Macomb Community College learn in their first year. Best of all, he puts his patients first and his bottom line......at the bottom!

We are always treated with respect and Dr. Schumacher is very knowledgeable in his field and always makes sure that we understand whatever needs our dogs may have. He has cried along with us when we had to put a favorite pet to sleep. I highly recommend this office to anyone seeking veterinary services in the Romeo area.
