Wake Monument Company was founded in Rolesville, NC in 1934 and is family owned and operated. We are a full-service monument company specializing in all types of monuments and markers in granite, marble and bronze.Our staff has knowledge of all the area cemeteries and can help you choose the proper monument to meet all the rules and regulations of your specific cemetery. Our monuments are designed and carved by our own staff and placed by our own professional monument installers.

What a wonderful n kind experience I had with Wake Monument; they are also in Chapel Hill where Ron came to my home. After a scary medical episode, I decided to purchase a plot & a monument. Working with Ron who is not only the owner but the artist that creates the headstone, was calming & his artistic abilities are truly amazing. He walked me through this difficult process, step by slow step--- at a pace I could handle. Thank you Ron! And thanks to great medical care, I'm still here! oh, love the Eiffel Tower you chiseled on the back--- unique n awesome!!!
I have the highest praise for Ron Bartholomew and Wake Monument. The craftsmanship, knowledge, and patience provided were above and beyond. Mr. Bartholomew even laid my mother's marker himself! The business of burying a loved one is painstaking. Wake Monument understands AND delivers quality work. I highly recommend.
Michael Batts and his crew helped me with repairs on my family's mausoleum. Besides being utterly professional and capable, they were also extremely considerate and caring during the entire process. I cannot recommend them enough.
I contacted Wake Monument after getting the run around from the funeral home, about my aunts head stone. Mr. Bartholomew quickly apologized and promise to lay the stone himself the next day!

I cannot say enough about the kindness, professionalism and patience of Carolyn Bartholomew, her family members in the business and everyone on her staff. They did an exquisite job on my family's monument, even going out of their way to arrange transport out of their immediate service area. I found their pricing reasonable; they were knowledgeable and had excellent design recommendations. I had dealt with others in this business who I now consider sub-par. I have now discivered that anyone in the Triangle area who is "in the know" about monuments, sings the praises of Wake Monument, hands down.
