The Rocky River Parks & Recreation Department offers year-round programming for preschoolers, students and adults. A brochure is mailed to residents three times per year. Many programs utilize school facilities, gyms, fields and classrooms. A full schedule of youth sports leagues is offered, including soccer, football, basketball, and baseball and softball. Instructional programs include tennis, golf, keyboarding, fencing, tumbling, skating and swimming. For adults, the department offers fitness programs, volleyball leagues, basketball, golf, water exercise and ballroom dancing. The city maintains eight public parks with a variety of amenities.
