In Security Distribution Magazine's 2006 Top 100 annual publication, SDM rated Sonitrol of Hartford number 47th in gross revenues and 31st in recurring revenue when compared to similar companies nationwide. Sonitrol's unique audio verification technology is sold through the Sonitrol Network of approximately 179 franchises, serving an estimated 200 cities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Sonitrol's technology has resulted in low false alarms rates, fast police response and the highest documented apprehension rate in the security industry. Since 1977, Sonitrol has assisted local police in the apprehension of more than 140,000 intruders. Sonitrol of Hartford operates a 24 hour Underwriters Laboratory listed & Factory Mutual Approved Central Monitoring Station, our own 2-way UL radio alarm transmission network, automated service dispatch and technical fleet cellular communications.
