American Dance Institute, located in Rockville, Md., is a nonprofit educational organization that trains children and adults in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C., metropolitan region. It offers a center for dance instruction serving children, preprofessionals, professionals and adults, a center for Pilates conditioning and teacher training, training center for dance troupes and choreographers, and state-of-the-art dance facility. Its facility comprises dance studios, a library, a children's playroom, an exercise room and a fully equipped Pilates studio. One studio converts to a performance space seating up to 140 people with a stage that measures 44-feet wide by 30-feet deep. Additionally, American Dance Institute offers dance classes in ballet, modern, jazz and flamenco.
