Eastside Elementary School, located in Rockmart, Ga., is a public school that is a part of Polk School District. It enrolls more than 500 students from kindergarten through grade five. It offers students opportunities to learn about the community and local culture. Special events are planned each year, including grandparents' week, book fair, storytellers, black history month, earth week, awards program, Veteran's Day, character education programs and science presenters. The curriculum includes a wide range of subjects and experiences, including verbal and written expression, math and science, art, music, and physical education. Eastside Elementary School art show introduce students to all areas of fine arts and student artwork is displayed throughout the school.
