      We decided to name our practice Winding River because we view life as a river. Our job is to help keep you on course by providing you with the highest quality healthcare possible. What is a Licensed Acupuncturist? A licensed acupuncturist is a physician specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of health issues using Chinese Medicine. They are trained in Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, conventional medicine, medical massage, dietary and lifestyle counseling. It typically takes four-and-a-half years to complete the master's degree required for licensure.
