Rockingham Junior High School offers a variety of courses in performing arts, business, computer science, English, health, physical education, family and consumer science, music and industrial technology. Its business classes offer information on word processing, desktop publishing and multimedia presentations. The school s English courses involve the study of literature and writing. Rockingham Junior High School also encourages participation in basketball and softball events. It serves students in grades seven through nine and is located in Rockingham, N.C. The school is managed by Richmond County Schools, which operates more than 20 elementary, middle and high schools and offers a range of educational, food and transportation services.
