Rockford Freshman Center offers courses in art, consumer economics, English, math, science, social studies, technology and physical education. Its art courses include painting, drawing and ceramics. The center also offers courses in French, German, Japanese and Spanish languages. Its intramural sports programs include archery, bowling, aerobics, hockey, tennis, soccer, golf, volleyball and football. Located in Rockford, Mich., the center also provides food, library and counseling services. Its newsletter offers information on campus activities and projects. Rockford Freshman Center is a part of Rockford Public Schools, which operates more than 10 educational facilities. The district also has a diagnostic staff that conducts student evaluations and provides support services to students, teachers and parents.
