Stepping Stones of Rockford is a private, nonprofit organization that provides housing and rehabilitation services to adults with serious mental illnesses and is located in Rockford, Ill. It serves adults and their families by providing intensive case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, community education and advocacy services. Established in 1969, it offers a wide variety of services and programs, including fully supervised group homes, 24-hour a day supported housing programs, living apartments and a collaborative facility. Stepping Stones of Rockford owns and operates various facilities, including a rehabilitation center and more than 10 housing facilities. Additionally, it provides online donation facilities.
