Had a water main break in our home. Called this plumber. He (Chuck Bland) replied "THIS MIGHT BE AN EMERGENCY TO YOU, BUT NOT TO US" informed him that the city could not make it out right away to shut off water to home from the street and we had to contact the fire department for assistance. He (Chuck Bland) replied "WHY DID YOU DO THIS? -- THIS NOW COST US TAX PAYERS $700!" --- Seriously!? We would NOT recommend this plumber for anything. One thing is for certain Chuck Bland is BLAND!! Contact either Randall Schott Jr or John Freed for any plumbing you need!! We contacted Randall, he was unavailable as he was on another job out of state and he highly recommended John Freed, who has taken care of the water problem here in our home and BOTH Randall and John considered this problem an emergency and both complimented us contacting the fire department to stop the water leak. When the water department from the City of Rockford came, the representative, Carrie, also complimented us on our quick thinking and getting the water leakage under control. Once again do NOT contact BLAND because he does not care!!
