I love this place! The hrs are a little inconvenient, but I drive 1.25 hrs to get there & it is always worthwhile. I have always found the owners to be sweet & helpful. If you find something you like while you are here, you might want to stock up on it. It might not be there next time.

This is a "retirement" biz so it is a bit quirky. Weekdays only. You are going to find some phenomenal deals. Lots of #10 cans so it would be a great place for those with large families. Cereal, cookies, crackers, cake mixes, cans and jars of all kinds. Candies and sodas too. By its very nature a "salvage" store is totally unpredictable as to what may be on hand on any particular day. Give it a shot and see if you don't agree it is worth the trip.

I gave this place 1 star because I couldn't give them 0. They are very rude and their deals aren't so great. Long story short they kicked me out of the store because I politely asked them to check that I was being charged for my items correctly. I add up my purchases before I head to the register. They said I could leave if I had a problem. Then they pulled out a toy that they "claimed" my children broke the last time we were there (which was at least 3-4 months ago) and told me to "Get out now!" I asked each of my 3 kids if they broke it and they denied it. I am not the type of mother to let my children run wild when we are out and about. I don't know what their problem is. Their deals aren't so great either. Most of the items are generic and priced at what the stores would have them at.
