Sandy's Bed and Biscuit is a very nice place to take you pet be it either cat or dog. We have used them for well over 15 years and they are interested in your pet. We asked our vet at River Ridge Animal Hospital about using them for taking care of our pets and they highly reccomended Sandy, and said she is one of the best and they are RIGHT! We take our dogs out to Sandy and they are very happy to go with her even with a mention of Sandy they are ready to go, as Sady takes them for walks, feeds them what we take or she supplies the food, if they need meds she make sure and write them down as to what time they are to be given. They are in runs not cages so that they can move around and be in comfort, they are cleaned out every day along with the runs that are outside. They are open very easy hours and one hour on Sunday evening for those that want to pick up their pet before Monday.In our uses with Sandy's bed and buscuit we have found that she even takes our phone numbers, and another phone number incase we were unable to be contacted, and she writes down the name of our vet in case needed.Once again we very much thinks Sandy's Bed and buscuit is the VERY BEST for are of your pet while you are on vacation and away from home

Our dog was returned to us with open wounds on his legs, and was stiff & rigid. When I called about my concerns I got the answering machine like always. I left a message, no call was ever returned, but my check got cashed. These injuries were a result of being on a hard surface with no bedding and either not being let out enough or being in a cage that was too small - or both. This is the poorest care my dog has ever received while being kenneled. He will not go here again, we'll stick to our usual place.

Our dog was here a week & was not returned in the same condition as he was left. When I called about placing my dog she said she provided blankets or we could bring our own. I brought my own, it was not in his cage w/ him at pick up & it still smelled clean. It was obvious it wasn't used & she didn't use her own blankets because my dog had open wounds on his legs, these were from being on a hard surface for too long. He also was very stiff & rigid, walked like an old man for a couple of days which is from lack of exersize & being cooped up too much. When I called her to let her know about these issues she never called back, not even to ask how my dog was doing or give an explanation. She just cashed my check & ignored me. We usually take our dog elsewhere every year, but thought this place would be better since it's at her home, thought our dog would get to be let out more & have better care - but it was the opposite. Unnecessary neglect. We won't take our dog here again.
