- Rochester Museum & Science Center, established in 1912, features regional history, anthropology, natural sciences, and archives objects, planetarium and nature center. Located in Rochester, N.Y., the center offers various holiday activities for families. Its birthday party packages are based on different themes, such as space, nature, science fun, engineering, geology, dinosaur fun and folk art. Some of museum exhibits include Knex, How Things Work, Expedition Earth, Creation Station, Cosmic Windows, Raceways, Time Capsule, At The Western Door and Face To Face. Rochester Museum & Science Center s Schuyler C. Townson Research Library has a large collection of books, periodicals, pamphlets, manuscripts and audiovisual materials. The center also has various books, exhibition guides, catalogs, special publications, research records and miscellaneous publications for sale.
