Horizon is a bit run down, with odd hours that change regularly, and has an iffy snack area with few choices (pizza, hot dog, which they were out of indefinitely, popcorn, pretzels, soda), which makes it difficult for my son. The skating floor is really well kept and smooth, the skates are well maintained, and my kid had a blast on their jungle gym thing and the inflatables. The arcade games are mostly run down older things, and there are few of them. There is no skate shop to speak of. The biggest problem was the lack of workers, the ones that were there were indifferent, and two were absolutely astounded by a prize machine. The DJ was also the skate rental guy, and I saw three other workers (one at the snack bar, one at the door, one at the inflatable thing to take tickets). It's a shame that this is the only place in Rochester to go to roller skate.

WORST PART EVER!!! Horizon Fun F/x Inc 675 Ling RoadHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Half the 7 year party girls CRIED because they were thrown down on the skating floor by bigger children. NO ONE wanted to skate after 15 minutes on the overcrowded floor. Everyone WAS BORED! I could never find the attendant because she was so busy. There were a total of 12 parties that day. I paid for 3 children that didn't show, and paid $ 3.00 extra for each kid that came so they could play at the Jungle Gyms playground. With parents (WHO HAD TO PAY FOR THEMSELVED TO GET IN AND SKATE WITH THEIR CHILD) and children frustrated, two kids left for home, right after I paid for their wristbands. To top- it off HORIZON staff lined up all 12 B-DAY kids and rushed them through the party booth of prizes. My daughter CRIED again because she caught two crumpled coupons for 25 Cents off future purchases. They were NOT the prizes promised in their ads!!! They nickel and dime you to death. They never returned my phone c
