All of our locations offer x-rays in-office at the time of your scheduled appointment. We see patients that come to us directly, as well as those that are referred to us as a follow up from an emergency room visit. We provide a number of treatment options including casting, immobilization, and surgical correction if necessary.
- Diabetic Foot CareCaring for your diabetic requires more than simply controlling blood sugar. Diabetic foot care is an important part of your scope of care. We offer routine and preventative care for patients with diabetes, as well as screenings to prevent complications of diabetes on lower extremities. We offer all-inclusive services for our patients with diabetes including nail care, wound care, screening and exams, and shoe and insert prescriptions.

- Ingrown ToenailsIngrown toenails can happen at any age and may cause pain and swelling around the toenail that can be a cause for concern for future infection. Westside Podiatry offers in-office treatment options at your child’s scheduled appointment. We will create a care plan to provide for a speedy recovery, with follow up visits to make sure that the issue is resolved and future infection in prevented.
- CornsCorns and calluses are formed from hardened skin and can develop from a nuisance issue to a source of pain. At your appointment at any of our Westside Podiatry locations, your podiatrist will examine your feet to determine the cause problem and take action to reduce the symptoms through a number of treatment options.

- FungusFungal nails are thick, discolored toenails that are often difficult to trim. Our team at Westside Podiatry will examine your fungal nails at the time of your scheduled appointment to help understand the cause of the fungus. Treatment options may include topical and oral remedies.
- LesionsWhen a curious rash appears on your feet, Westside Podiatry is here to help. We treat all types of dermatological issues including skin discoloration, rashes, lesions, and itchiness. Your podiatrist will examine your feet to understand the cause of the issue and recommend a treatment plan. Treatment options may include topical treatment, oral medications, and if necessary, a soft tissue biopsy.

- Sports MedicineDoctor Freeling is also on the staff of Rochester General Hospital and Unity Health Systems. He is the Chairman of the Podiatry Section at Unity Hospital. He is also on the staff of Brighton Surgery Center and Westfall Surgery Center. Doctor Freeling was President of the Monroe Country Podiatry Society and is a member of the New York State Podiatry Society. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Doctor Freeling was President of Genesee Valley Sports Medicine Association and has lectured on sports medicine injuries.

- Bunions ProblemsBunions are noticeable bumps on the inside of the foot, typically found around the big toe joint. Hammer toes are stiffened curled toes that bend and point downward. Both issues are known to cause pain when wearing shoes and in the joints surrounding the problem area. At Westside Podiatry, we treat bunions and hammer toes on a regular basis. Our locations offer an in-office x-ray evaluation during your scheduled appointment where we determine the source of the problem and set an ongoing treatment plan. - Diabetic Foot CareDr. Verbofsky is currently on staff with Unity Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, Brighton Surgical Center, and Wyoming County Community Health System. Dr. Verbofsky enjoys using his training to find treatment options that meet his patient’s needs and goals. His podiatric proficiencies and interests include surgery of the forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, tendon repair with augmentations via allograft or tendon transfer, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, and traumatic injuries.

- Plantar FasciitisHeel pain, often considered to be Plantar Fasciitis, involves inflammation of the plantar tendon; causing sharp pain at the bottom of your heel and tightness in the bottom of your foot. At Westside Podiatry we offer all-inclusive treatment plans that start with an x-ray and can vary from plans for inserts and physical therapy, to laser treatment and possible surgical correction.
