      Located in Rochester, N.Y., Strong Memorial Hospital is a more than 500-bed acute care facility. A part of the University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial has been operational for more than 35 years. The hospital features a state-of-the-art laboratory, medical records department, medical library, physician staff office and lounge, and administrative offices. It also has step-down and intensive care units, emergency departments, surgical suites and short procedure spaces. Strong Memorial Hospital serves more than 100,000 people and employs over 1,000 physicians and support staff. The hospital provides various emergency, diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, such as surgical services, inpatient and outpatient care, rehabilitation, cardiac care, family birthing and fitness center, home health aides, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography scans, ultrasounds, and laboratory services. It also offers mammography solutions, occupational health, oncology, Gunderson rehabilitation, same-day surgery, patient education, wound care, ostomy and continence services.
