Best country club experience in Rochester. A chalet in the woods as a club house with a Donald Ross course, perfect. Best staff and a warm, friendly membership. I joined three years ago and have enjoyed every minute. Very affordable with introductory programs. I encourage everyone interested in joining a private club to join here.

My wife and I have attended several golf and social events at Brook-Lea as friends of ours are members. We have enjoyed every second of every event. A true "country club" experience awaits you here as you will enjoy challenging but enjoyable golf on one of the area's few Donald ross courses and a great dining experience with good friends afterwards. We highly recommend Brook-Lea Country Club.

I've been a member of Brook-Lea Country Club for 6 years. It's head and shoulders above the club I belonged to for 14 years prior to joining Brook-Lea. Great golf course - designed by Donald Ross - was in best condition ever last year. Jon Hoecker, head golf pro, is simply awesome with all members, but takes a special interest in the Juniors. Management team, led by Jeff Gillette, has the clubhouse operation running smoothly. I've hosted 3 large parties in the large Donald Ross room and every one has generated rave reviews from our guests. Two of the parties were fund-raisers with a live band and dancing. Brook-Lea's membership is friendly and welcoming. I can't imagine belonging to any other country club in the Rochester area!

This is a GREAT place to have an event...the dining is exquisit and the views of the course are breathtaking! I wish I was member!

There is not a finer private country club in the Greater Rochester area. BLCC has it all; a Donald Ross designed course, brand new outdoor pool, newly remodled clubhouse and a FANTASTIC membership!

I will be honest when I say not all things are perfect but the Country Club is one of the top ten in Monroe County. The golf course is impeccable. Fairways, bunkers and greens are constantly being tended. The trees are constantly replaced as needed. The playability is outstanding and time is not an issue.The club house renovation has dramatically improved the interior and exterior of the facility. The locker rooms, workout room, dining room, party room and the bar area are very attractive and useable.The membership has a great sense comradery. Very friendly. The head pro is one of the top teachers in the area. He has been with the club over 18 years. Management of the country club is in the hands of two very capable people. The board of governors, as volunteers, try to help steer the club in the right direction. This is a tremendous place. I left my membership with Brook Lea after several years of horrible leadership amongst the Board of Directors. They were constantly turning over staff and had little to no clue how to operate a private, professional club yet tried to have their hands on everything. I would never recommend joining or bringing a client to this establishment.
