      General Info
      Dr. Baibhav is a cardiologist at the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute at Rochester Regional Health. He went to medical school in India at B. J. Medical College. He did his residency and chief residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship and advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he was also the chief fellow. He joined the Sands Constellation Heart institute in 2016. Dr Baibhav specializes in consultative cardiology and multimodality cardiac imaging. In collaboration with the department of radiology Dr. Baibhav has helped develop a robust cardiovascular MRI program at Rochester Regional Health and is deeply involved in quality improvement and technical education. Dr. Baibhav also has expertise in the areas of advanced echocardiography techniques such as contrast echocardiography, three-dimensional echocardiography, hemodynamic exercise bike echocardiography and echocardiography to guide structural interventions such as transcatheter mitral valve repair. He is also involved in quality improvement projects in the echocardiography laboratory and sonographer education. Dr Baibhav has board certifications in Internal medicine, Cardiovascular diseases, Comprehensive adult echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology and Cardiovascular CT. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography and is a member of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic resonance. Dr. Baibhav is well published in peer review journals and has presented at national meetings. He also works as a reviewer for journals. He is a frequent presenter at cardiology grand rounds and symposiums. He is passionate about medical education and teaching of residents, medical students and physician assistants. Dr Baibhav lives in Rochester with his wife Anna, an oboist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and their daughter Amara. Dr. Baibhav enjoys travelling and classical music.
