Established in 1976, Rochester Child Care Center is a private, nonprofit center that offers a range of child care services for families. The center serves more than 300 children through its various programs. It is a member of the United Way of the Greater Seacoast. Rochester Child Care Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program to offer nutritious meals and snacks, as well as information to parents on nutrition and health topics. The center administers a preschool program that includes a variety of hands-on materials to foster the social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development of children. In addition, its programs include sports activities and cooking and themed events.
