SEMCIL United Home Healthcare Choices (SEMCIL UHHC) is a Medicare-certified agency that offers a variety of home health care services for individuals throughout southeastern Minnesota. The agency provides several services related to skilled nursing, home health aides, companionship, homemaker, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. SEMCIL United Home Healthcare Choices administers cardiopulmonary, diabetes, neurological and orthopedic programs. It also offers programs in the areas of specialty wound, rehabilitation, and medication and pain management. The agency participates in the Medication Options Program (MOP), which is a community-based program that includes medication, symptom and side effect monitoring, and physical and mental health assessment for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. It is a part of the Southeastern Minnesota Center for Independent Living, which is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1981 and assists people with various disabilities. SEMCIL United Home Healthcare Choices maintains a location in Rochester, Minn.
