The concept of creating a stronger driver's educational program for teens and adults came about in the fall of 2008. The fact that driver's education has changed so little in the last 20 years should cause parents to be alarmed. It's not "just something that they have to do" anymore. A strong understanding of technique, traction laws, the rules and responsibilities that come with driving are vital when it comes to lowering their road risk. We send our children to the best camps, schools and colleges because we want them to get the most out of those experiences. Where they do their driver's education and what they get out of that experience is what will determine their level of success on the road. And success on the road means they come home every night safe and sound.
