      We love this restaurant for a good steak and salad bar with good prices. You don't have to spend an arm and a leg for a good meal with this restaurant. This is one of the few restaurants in the area with a good salad bar.

The Great 611 Steak Company is Roanoke's top spot for enticing American entrees, a little local history, and the very best cuts of beef! Our story begins with the great 611 train out of our own fair city of Roanoke, VA. The twelfth of fourteen Class J steam locomotives, the great 611 rode the rails through the mountains and coal fields of the Roanoke valley from 1950 until its retirement in 1994. Today, she serves as inspiration for our steakhouse, as we serve up the highest-quality steaks and entrees with the dependability of this legendary passenger train! From succulent chicken and seafood dishes to prime chops of meat seared to perfection, our restaurant has something for everyone. We offer American family favorites in a fun and friendly atmosphere, and our service will always keep you coming back for more!
