Founded in 1920, SFCS is an architectural design and planning firm. It provides a range of services, such as interior design, site analysis and development, space planning, project development, facility survey, evaluation and scheduling. The firm also offers mechanical, electrical and structural engineering, consulting, programming, installation, bidding and construction administration services. Additionally, SFCS provides feasibility and lifecycle cost analysis, master planning, testing coordination, energy management and graphic design services. It undertakes various projects for colleges, universities, senior housing units, and medical and government facilities. The firm has a staff of more than 70 employees, including designers, technicians, architects and engineers. SFCS is headquartered in Roanoke, Va.
