Mark E. Chubik, founder of MEC Consulting LLC, provides finance and accounting services to businesses wanting to contract with the United States Government. With over 30 years experience in the defense industry corporate finance field, Mr. Chubik aids businesses in its compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations ("FAR") and Cost Accounting Standards ("CAS"). For example, he can help a business submit compliant Government contract cost proposals that will be subject to Government auditing. He can also help navigate a business through difficult Government accounting issues, like making an initial incurred cost proposal submission, Government determinations of CAS non-compliances, assertions of defective pricing, and other matters involving the Defense Contract Management Agency ("DCMA"), Administrative Contracting Officers ("ACOs"), the Defense Contract Audit Agency ("DCAA") and other Federal Government agencies.
