Luigi's has always been that special restaurant where my husband and I celebrate special occasions and have always loved it. However, this week we went to eat there. The service was excellent and the food good. My favorite is Eggplant Parmigiana. I was disappointed in the bland taste of the eggplant (the sauce was good) and also that I did not receive any pasta with my dish. My husband got 4 small pieces of stuffed veal, but mostly he got gravy and onions. We were charged almost $3.00 each for a cup of regular coffee. The portions have really been cut back. We probably will not go back as we can get as good of an Italian meal at a lower cost. This is sad and I guess a sign of the times.

We ate there while in town and were very happy with it.We had great food and great wine.5 stars in my book!!!!!!!
The service was reasonable but nothing notable. The food was mediocre as was the wine list. I had read all sorts of wonderful reviews about it online so I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and we were both sorely disappointed.
