Eye Care and Surgery was established by Lee Thomas Helms, MD in 1987 with the objective of providing excellent comprehensive eye care to the patients in the Roanoke Valley while emphasizing compassion and Christian values. The number of eye care providers has grown to 3 comprehensive ophthalmologist and 3 optometrists; and the number of office locations has grown to three including Roanoke, Botetourt, and Smith Mountain Lake.
