I had a wonderful experience! The technician was polite, thorough, explained everything, and conversed with us while he worked-I loved the conversation since my son is non-verbal and we can go several days without anyone to talk to. He remembered to lock the gate each time he went back and forth to his truck--this is important because my special needs son likes to escape the yard whenever he can. I thought he went above and beyond! They came out late Saturday afternoon and I had cool air blowing in about an hour or so. I will definitely call them again, when the need arises. For us, listening to our needs and budget is just as important as the repair and he excelled in all areas!

Do not call these guys!!! My senior citizen mother called them to repair her HVAC, they came the same day and charged her $150 for a repair, then it stopped working within three days! They failed to show up when she called them back, then stopped taking her calls and finally, after several days of calls and her suffering through a heat wave with no air conditioner, told her it was too hot to go in her attic to make the repair and to call someone else!! When we had another service come out, they had to repeat the same repair and American Heating refused to give a refund for their failed service when we called to explain the situation. The gentleman even went so far to tell me he does not warranty his service and then hung up on me. I would give them no stars if possible.

Very infomative, helped me to make the right choice, which saved me money and hassles, other comany tried to sell me the old r22 freon system, which is being phased out next year. Not the cheapest est I got, but very detailed work and service. good people.

American Heating and Air Conditioning practices bait and switch tactics. James the owner of the business promised a nationally recognized heat pump brand and wrote their name on the contract. However, the product he installed in our home is the lowest builders grade product available and not at all what we had requested. Do not trust this company they had been to my home several times and I trusted them and that is the reason I gave them the business. Apparently, they are just nice enough for you to trust them and as soon as they are given a large job like replacing an entire heat pump unit they take advantage of the situation. American Heating and Air Conditioning is not to be trusted no matter how much of a relationship you develop with their owner, James. He may not betray your trust the first time he works on your HVAC equipment, but he will eventually take advantage of you.
