General Info
Brothers Curtis and Chris Wells opened The Classic Cafe at Roanoke in May of 1993 with a desire to serve a world-class menu in a casual, relaxed setting, and to build a community around great food. Set in an unassuming blue house with a storied history, The Classic serves globally-inspired menu items, prepared with farm-quality ingredients by a creative and collaborative kitchen team. The menu of fresh seafood, premium steaks and pastas includes items that follow the seasons, as fruits and vegetables ripen in The Classic’s on-site garden. The Classic offers a full bar, craft cocktails, and a wine list carefully selected to complement the menu. Live classical guitar with a rock twist can be heard in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Service at The Classic is warm, professional and knowledgeable – a place where guests are recognized and treated like family. Quaint and relaxing ambience is highlighted with pops of colorful modern art by acclaimed artist Carolyn Riegelman.Brothers Curtis and Chris Wells opened The Classic Cafe at Roanoke in May of 1993 with a desire to serve a world-class menu in a casual, relaxed setting, and to build a community around great food.
