Manning Elementary School, a part of the Roanoke Rapids School District, provides educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school employs subject teachers, guidance counselors, media coordinators, occupational therapists, nurses and speech pathologists. It supports several sports activities, such as gymnastics and softball. Manning Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that organizes fundraising events and extracurricular activities.
