Belmont Elementary School offers academic programs to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school conducts classes in reading, writing, basic skills, English, math, science, social studies, music, and health and physical education. Belmont Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that organizes educationally centered community events throughout the year. The school has a media center that assists students in the development of information literacy skills. Belmont Elementary School also operates a computer laboratory and publishing center and offers an extended day program. Belmont Elementary School is a part of the Roanoke Rapids Graded School District and is located in Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
