      Center Academy - Special Education School in Riverview, Florida Established in 1968 by Dr. Mack Hicks, Center Academy is committed to supporting students with learning differences, including ADHD, Asperger’s syndrome, high-functioning autism, autism spectrum disorder, and dyslexia. As one of the premier ADHD and special education schools in Riverview, Florida, we provide personalized programs designed to address the unique needs of each student. Our experienced team specializes in neuropsychology and individualized remediation, fostering a supportive environment where students can excel academically, socially, and emotionally.

      Center Academy began in 1968 with the vision of its founder, Dr. Mack Hicks, Seeing the need for a specialized, full-day school for students who were falling through the cracks in traditional schools, Dr. Hicks established one of the first schools in the United States to focus on the needs of students with Attention Deficit Disorder and other neuropsychological processing difficulties.
