Never been treated so badly by a healthcare provider when I questioned some charges. It seems they think they have the right to order extra tests without consulting with the patient first, or charge for an "office visit" (five minutes) on top of the procedure actually scheduled.

I was referred go the riverview office by my doctor, and I have never been around someone who does not listen or even seem to care about the issues I was there for in the first place. Despite results from the blood work they ordered being rediculously the doctor just rambled on and on about himself, so I obtained a copy of the results and went back to my primary care doctor, who was shocked and appologized for for wasting my time with them and now thankfully my doctor has taken a course of action to treat me and I'm finally feeling better. Avoid these guys unless you like someone playing god with your Heath.

i.e., A local This is the first time I have written a review for anyting, just goes to show how upset I am! I am caring for my Grandfather whom is recovering from a major surgery, and is in a rehabilitation center. He received a referral to Bay Area Urology not knowing what we were in for. The appt we were scheduled for was with Dr. Alver, and we had never been to this place nor did I know that there were offices hidden in the back corner of Winthrop Plaza. We were 10 minutes late, and Dr. Alver had already gone on his lunch. My Grandfather is in a weelchair and it put him in great pain to sit in the chair for more than a couple hours. The receptionist told us we would have to wait 45min-an hour to be seen. I am sorry, but I am in the military and there are days that I don't get a lunch, just comes with the job. That day my grandfather, and myself had not had lunch yet, I am very disappointed that any kind of business would practice in this manner! I am happy to announce that he is doing much better now up and walking to where now he would be able to sustain a 45min wait.favorite, or highly recommended because
