John W. North High School operates under the Riverside Unified School District. Located in Riverside, Calif., the school offers classes from grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as business education, consumer and family science, foreign languages, history and social science, industrial technology education and language arts. The school also offers courses in math, physical education, science, special education, regional occupational program, and visual and performing arts. John W. North High School organizes a variety of student activities, including academic decathlon, multicultural council, peer squad, mock trial, drill team, interclub council and science Olympiad. The school provides a wide range of student clubs. It also organizes several sporting activities, such as cross country, football, tennis, volleyball, water polo, soccer, golf, swimming, softball, and track and field.
