It utilizes advanced heat treating technologies and computer-controlled atmosphere and monitoring systems for atmospheric hardening, gas carburizing and carbo-nitriding. Riverdale Plating & Heat Treating s metal finishing processes are carried out on automatic computerized barrel plating equipment devices. The company operates a 125,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Riverdale, Ill., with more than five belt furnaces and over three automatic barrel hoist plating lines. It serves customers in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. Riverdale Plating & Heat Treating has received an ISO 9000:2000 certification from the International Organization for Standardization.
