Pointe South Elementary School is a part of Clayton County Public Schools, which owns and operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes math, social studies, science, English and foreign languages. The school also offers several programs in fine arts and leadership training. It maintains a cafeteria,as well as library and media center that offers a range of books and instructional materials. In addition, the school organizes a variety of events that includes book fairs, camps and skating parties. It operates a bookstore that provides pencils, notebooks, folders and poster boards.
