Budo Kai is an amazing goju-ryu karate dojo. It isn't the kind of school where you can get a black belt in a year. Students here pride themselves on knowing that they've really worked for their ranks, and that they are learning real, traditional martial arts.At Budo Kai, students are always supportive, and the atmosphere is friendly and respectful. The instructor is demanding but supportive, and always pushes each student to the best of his or her ability. He's also great with kids, and all of the offered classes are fun and challenging.Classes are run with students in mind, so if a group of students shows up that needs to work on a particular technique, the instructor will make that the theme of class. Classes are never the same each day, and feature anything from forms and sparring to weapons, conditioning, and even games.There are no contracts, and students pay monthly. Plus, Budo Kai offers a family, and a free uniform with if you join for a month.I love Budo Kai!
