Rising Sun High School is a college preparatory school that provides academic education to students in grades 9 through 12. The school s curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies, physical and health education, computer applications and fine arts. It provides membership opportunities for various clubs and organizations, including Future Homemakers of America and National Honor Society, as well as operates a student council and conducts Science Olympiad competitions. Rising Sun High School offers several athletic activities, such as soccer, basketball, softball, golf, cross-country, and track and field. It is a part of Rising Sun -Ohio County Community School Corporation, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. Rising Sun High School is located in Rising Sun, Ind.
