I just wanted to inform of my experience so no one ever has to go through what I did and still do at cape may family dental. I wouldn't waste my time writing reviews not my job. I walked in with beautiful teeth Ten Years Later of having this dentist I'm still waiting crowns and caps on root canals preformed by dr. Wang(village rd)Cmfd mess up your teeth they remove them they do root canal they do cavities and then they ask questions or take X-rays later. They did give me pain meds. 3 bottles I never touched. I want my teeth fixed not drugs to mask pain & triangle infection! They insurance shame! The manager Debbie has been caught in many lies it's sickening. If they submit approval you have a right to a copy! A denial should be sent to your home,& you or your dentist can appeal. I go in cmfd 3/16. They said we fought cant help you rajpal said save $1600,ur tooths falling out. Really?under tour care? Ok. I only see the office happy at canyon club getting free food @midatlantic

Horrible

Now I should've listened to my husband the last time he was there for a cleaning. They over charged him and didn't clean his teeth well at all...he switched dentist. But anyhow I was there last summer with my 2 oldest girls and my newborn baby. Both my oldest needed a cleaning so they took us all back and my middle child needed some extra things done and they said that they could squeeze all the work in that day so I wouldn't have to come back, so we decided to stay. They wouldn't allow my 11 year old to sit in the waiting room by herself so that I could be with my 5 year old, so against my better judgement I sent my 5 year old in by herself. I could hear her screaming for me the entire time. They finally came to get me bc she wouldn't cooperate. This was my 5 year old's first time and she was petrified.

Now today was an spot that was rescheduled by the office bc the dentist switched work days, so I took a day off from work and had my 5 year old skip school. We arrived at 9:30 my appt was scheduled at 10am, the place was busy, the man sitting behind me was mumbling about how he was already an hour behind on his appt. I had my 9 month old with me and after almost waiting 30 minutes after my scheduled appt she started becoming fussy, so I gave her a cracker which calmed her down, not even 5 minutes later, the receptionist came over and said we were not to have food or beverages in th waiting room, I said to her that she would have to make an exception, my baby is 9 months old. She replied that there was a sign on the door, to which I just ignored her.

After 45 minutes, they finally called my daughter's name, we stood up and started to walk back and the receptionist said I couldn't take the baby back with me (at this time the baby had fallen asleep), I said I wasn't going to let my daughter go back without me she was already scared to begin with, the lady behind the desk very rudely said "well you're going to have to reschedule she next time have a sitter". first off, I've been waiting for nearly an hour and a half in the waiting room, she seen me walk in with 2 kids...you could not tell me then about not being able to bring my baby. Secondly, it is not anyone's business why I didn't have a sitter. I do not appreciate anyone telling me what I need to do with my children.

I originally went to this office in an emergency. I've now made this my dentist. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the dentist is wonderful. They take my insurance, too, which is important.
