Riley Elementary School offers educational programs to more than 500 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The school features a dining area, gym, media center and computer lab. It maintains a parent-teacher organization. The school receives donations from clubs, banks, churches and civic organizations. Riley Elementary School also maintains a cafeteria that provides lunch options. The school offers classes in math, art, music, reading, writing, and physical and special education. It offers nursing care, counseling and speech therapy services. Riley Elementary School organizes field trips, conferences, book fairs, spring carnivals, picnics and fundraising programs. It is a part of Vigo County School Corporation, which governs elementary, middle and high schools. The district administers a reading recovery program and provides emergency grants.
